  Zwanzig Jahre. Kann das wirklich sein? Ich hab "V wie Vendetta" neulich Abend nochmal gesehen und es hat sich angefuhlt wie das erste Mal. Vielleicht sogar intensiver. Weil man jetzt wei?, was danach kam. Die ganzen Sachen, die damals wie dystopische Fantasie aussahen, sind heute irgendwie... normal geworden. Nicht in England, aber uberall. Ein bisschen hier, ein bisschen da. James McTeigue, der Regisseur, hat zum Jubilaum ein Interview gegeben. Er sagt, der Film ware nicht prophetisch gewesen. Nur aufmerksam. Wir drehen uns immer in den gleichen Kreisen, politisch gesehen. Deshalb funktioniert er immer noch.
  
  
  Die Geschichte mit Natalie Portmans Glatze ist immer noch die beste. Sie wollte die Rasur echt haben. Keine Tricks, keine Perucke. McTeigue kannte sie von "Angriff der Klonkrieger", wusste also, dass sie es ernst meint. Er hat trotzdem drei Kameras aufgestellt und ihren Friseur bereitgehalten. Fur den Fall der Falle. Aber alles lief glatt. Richtig chaotisch wurde es erst spater. Am gleichen Wochenende war Premiere von "Die Rache der Sith" in Cannes. Portman kam aufs Festival — vollig kahl. Die ganze Stadt hat durchgedreht. "Beste Werbung, die wir uns wunschen konnten", sagt McTeigue heute, zwanzig Jahre spater, und lacht.
  
  Und dann Adrian Biddle. Kameramann der Legende. Hat "Aliens" gedreht, "Die Braut des Prinzen", "Thelma & Louise". "V wie Vendetta" war sein letzter Film. McTeigue stellte unmogliche Aufgaben — totale Dunkelheit hinter einer Figur, fast kein Licht. Biddle nickte, baute auf, setzte sich dann in die Ecke und las den Guardian.   McTeigue hat auch uber heutige Comicverfilmungen gesprochen. Sie sind alle gleich, sagt er. Zu viel Gequatsche. Nolans Batman hat funktioniert, weil er anders war. Marvel und DC merken den Windwechsel wohl auch. Die Leute sind mude. Aber "V wie Vendetta" steht au?erhalb von all dem. Zwanzig Jahre und fuhlt sich immer noch an wie gestern gemacht. Was vielleicht das Traurigste ist, was man uber einen Film sagen kann. Weil es bedeutet, dass sich nichts wirklich geandert hat.
